Taylor, a freshman forward, averaged 23.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 1.5 blocks and 1.5 steals as Central split a pair of overtime games and clinched the Iowa Conference title outright. He registered career-highs in points (24) and rebounds (12) in Central’s 81-78 overtime win at Luther, then added 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists in an 86-83 overtime loss to Wartburg to conclude the regular season.
