Wirth, a senior shooting guard, averaged 27.0 points and 5.5 rebounds as Coe posted a pair of victories last week. He tied a school record with eight 3-pointers as part of a 30-point, 8-rebound effort in Coe’s 75-61 win at Luther on Feb. 12. It was the most by an IIAC player in four years. Wirth also scored 24 points, three rebounds, three assists, and four steals in a 75-60 win over Simpson on Feb. 15. He shot 51.4 percent (19-of-37) from the floor and 63.6 percent (14-of-22) from 3-point range. With six 3-pointers against Simpson, Wirth moved into third place on Coe’s career list with 193.
