Williams, a senior 174-pounder, went 4-0 while leading Wartburg to its fourth-straight NWCA National Duals title and eighth overall. He earned bonus points in every match, posting two first-period falls and two technical falls. Williams' two technical falls moved him into second place on Wartburg's career leader list in that category. Wartburg – which has finished no worse than second since National Duals was expanded to include Division III schools in 2002 – moved its winning streak to 45 duals. Williams also surpassed the 20-win mark this season.
