Kotas, a junior guard, scored 45 points in 46 minutes over two games last week. She scored 24 points on 8-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds, a block and a steal in a 105-79 win over Eureka on Dec. 20, then posted 21 points on 6-of-11 shooting (all 3-pointers) with nine rebounds in an 82-69 win over Alverno. Kotas was 10 of 13 from 3-point range and 7 of 8 at the charity stripe in the two contests. The Spartans have won four straight, eclipsing 100 points on three occasions.
