Watkins, a senior forward, helped Dubuque post a pair of victories over Simpson – one to close the regular season and the other in the first round of the IIAC tournament. She scored the lone goal in the regular-season finale against the Storm in Indianola on Oct. 29 and had a hand in all three goals (one goal, two assists) in the tournament rematch four days later in Dubuque.
