Hernandez, a freshman forward, scored the game-winning goal in both of Dubuque's victories last week. He took five shots against Grinnell on Oct. 9, getting a golden goal in the first overtime. Against Coe on Oct. 12, he hammered home a penalty kick to lock up a 2-1 victory. The Spartans have won three of their last four games.
