Beardsley, a freshman, captured medalist and IIAC Golfer of the Year honors at the 2013 Iowa Conference Women’s Golf Championship with a 307 total. Her total tied for the third lowest 72-hole individual score in championship history. Beardsley also became just the second golfer in championship history to record four sub-80 rounds at a single IIAC Championship (Jen Stork, Buena Vista, 2006). She is the fourth Wartburg golfer to earn top medalist honors and the fifth to be named IIAC MVP. Wartburg captured its seventh straight IIAC title with a 1274 total, setting a new 72-hole team scoring record as well as new mark for margin of victory (115 strokes).
