Stein, a senior outfielder, hit .500 with a .579 on-base percentage and a 1.000 slugging percentage as Coe topped Cornell in a nonconference game and swept a 4-game IIAC series from Loras. He had eight hits, including a triple and two home runs, and drove in four. Stein was also a perfect 3-for-3 in stolen base attempts and scored at least one run in each contest. He went 2-for-4 with a home run in a 10-3 Bremner Cup win over Cornell and was 3-for-4 with triple and two runs scored in a 3-2 win over Loras to cap an April 20 doubleheader sweep.
