Horton, a sophomore, finished fourth in the 5,000-meter run at the Washington University (Mo.) Invitational with a time of 14 minutes, 33.77 seconds, shattering a 19-year old school record by 12 seconds. The mark ranks third in Division III this spring. Horton was the top Division III finisher in the race, placing behind two unattached runners and a Division II runner. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
