Laraia, a junior, tied for third in a field a 82 golfers at the Graceland Spring Invitational with 148 total, finishing six shots back of the meet medalist. In his first tournament competing for Central's top squad, he fired the low round for the Dutch on both days. Central shaved 19 shots off its opening-round score on the second day, finishing second in the 14-team tournament with a 603 total.
