Nordquist, a senior forward/center, averaged 17.7 points and 11.7 rebounds in three games - all BVU wins - dating back to December 29. He had only five points and two rebounds in an 86-79 win at University of Redlands on Dec. 29, but bounced back for a 20-point, 12-rebound effort in a 75-63 victory at Pomona-Pitzer. Against Simpson in the Beavers' conference opener on Jan. 5, Nordquist posted 28 points on 9-of-12 shooting from the field and a 10-of-12 effort at the charity stripe while also pulling down 21 rebounds. His 28 points were a season-high, whil his 21 boards were the most by a BVU player since 1997. Nordquist now has a league-best seven double-doubles this season and has helped the Beavers to an eight-game winning streak, their longest since reeling off 11 in a row in 2008-09.
