Watkins, a junior forward, scored three goals and two assists as the Spartans posted wins over Cornell (7-0) and Buena Vista (3-1) to extend their winning streak to six games. She scored one goal and two assists against the Rams and added two goals against the Beavers. After starting the year with a 2-5-1 mark, Dubuque has gone 7-0-1 over its last eight games and sits third in the IIAC with only an Oct. 23 match at league-leading Loras remaining on the slate.
