McDonald, a senior forward, scored four goals and assisted on another for nine points as Dubuque posted victories over Bethel (7-1) on Sept. 18 and Wartburg (2-1) on Sept. 22. He scored both goals in the Spartans’ IIAC opener against the Knights. He leads all IIAC players in points (25), points per game (3.12), goals (10) and game-winning goals (3) and ranks second in assists (5).
