Lafferty, a junior forward, recorded his first career hat trick in a 7-0 win over Presentation that put the Beavers within one goal of last year's season total, a figure subsequently tied Sept. 9 in a 1-1 draw at Illinois College. Lafferty leads all IIAC players with six goals.
