Fleetwood, a junior, went 3-0 in three appearances at the Iowa Conference tournament, scattering 13 hits, walking two and striking out 10 in 21 innings. She threw a complete-game two-hitter in a 2-0 winner’s bracket semifinal win over Simpson Thursday, then came back Saturday and pitched 14 scoreless innings in wins over No. 4 Luther (3-0) and No. 19 Coe (2-1, 8 innings) to lead the Dutch to their first tournament title since the tournament was revived in 2006. The win over Coe came in relief as Dutch starter Brie Haycraft did not return to the circle following a long rain delay. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
