Odegard, a sophomore, tied for medalist honors at the Augustana (Ill.) Spring Invitational after firing back-to-back rounds of 1-over par 73 for a 146 total. He shared honors with Dan Balgooyen of Ashford and Shane Smith of Illinois Wesleyan (both 72-74--146) and finished 1 stroke ahead of the rest of the 116-golfer field at Pinnacle Country Club in Milan, Ill. The Spartans finished second overall with a 311-293--604 total. The 293 total on day two tied team champion Illinois Wesleyan (300-293--593) for low team round.
