Neloms, a freshman, placed second in the non-seeded high jump competition and third in the triple jump at the ISU Open Jan. 20-21. He was the top Division III competitor in both events. His high jump mark of 6 feet, 5 inches (1.96 meters) ranks 20th nationally, while his 45-6.5 (13.88m) effort in the triple jump ranks 21st.
