Johnson, a sophomore forward/center, scored a career-high 29 points on 12-of 20 shooting and pulled down 14 rebounds to lead the Norse to a 64-57 victory over Buena Vista Jan. 7 at Decorah. The result gave Luther its first IIAC victory of 2011-2012 and knocked the Beavers from the ranks of the unbeaten in league play. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
