Hood, a senior, won the 125-pound weight class at the Citrus Invitational. He pinned each of his first three opponents in the first period, spending a total of 4 minutes, 32 seconds on the mat. In the finals, he posted a 9-3 decision over Kyle Pedretti of Upper Iowa -- the No. 2-ranked wrestler in NCAA Division II. The win over Pedretti also extended Hood's winning streak to seven matches.
