Merritt, a senior guard/forward, averaged 20.5 points as Luther split a pair of games last week. He scored a career-high 23 points and tied a Luther single-game record with 7 3-pointers in a 74-71 overtime victory over Simpson on December 7. He also pulled down four rebounds and had two assists during the contest. Merritt added 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting with four more treys in a 74-72 loss at Northwestern (Minn.) on December 9.
