Nielsen, a junior forward, averaged 17.0 points and 8.5 rebounds as the Storm posted a pair of victories last week. She scored 19 points on 9-of-11 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds in a 78-45 Iowa Conference victory over Luther on Dec. 7. Nielsen followed that up with 15 points and 7 rebounds in a 56-52 come-from-behind win over Wheaton (Ill.) on Dec. 10. Making her first start of the season against the Thunder, she converted a free throw after being fouled on a made jumper with 1:50 to play to give the Storm a 52-50 lead.
