Potratz, a freshman first baseman, led Simpson with nine RBIs and three home runs during a week in which the Storm went 5-1, including a sweep of defending national runner-up Coe and a split with No. 6 Luther. She fueled an eight-run first inning in game one against the Norse with a three-run homer, finishing with four RBIs in the Storm’s 16-8, 6-inning win. She homered twice in a doubleheader against non-conference foe Westminster (Mo.) and drew six walks during the week.
