Eimers, a senior, won the women’s 6-kilometer race at the Dan Huston Invitational. She was able to claim the victory with a sprint in the last 50 meters, stopping the clock in 22 minutes, 53 seconds to best the 139-runner field by three seconds. The time stands as the sixth-best in school history over 6 kilometers.
