Eimers, a senior, placed eighth in a field of 385 runners at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota. She covered the 6-kilometer track at Les Bolstad Golf Course in 23 minutes, 3.6 seconds to finish 56 seconds back of individual champion Christy Cazzola of Wisconsin-Oshkosh (22:06.47). Eimers' time stands as the eighth-best in school history at that distance. Her eighth-place finish and the eighth-place by Wartburg as a team (230 points) were the best by any IIAC individual or team. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
