Pederson, a junior middle hitter, hit .315, and averaged 3.14 kills and 1.86 blocks per game in four matches during the week, leading Central to its first Iowa Conference Tournament title since 2001. In the regular season finale, a 3-0 victory over Cornell, she had six kills. In the quarterfinals of the Iowa Conference Tournament, a 3-0 victory over Luther, she had eight kills, four blocks and three digs. Pederson set a school record with 18 blocks (five solo) in a 3-2 victory over Simpson in the semifinals, also contributing 15 kills and hitting .310. She hit .419 with 15 kills and three blocks in a sweep of Cornell in the Championship match.
