Conaway, a sophomore, reached the semifinals of the Wilson/ITA Women’s Midwest Region. As the #13-seed, she was farthest advancing seed. In the first round, she defeated St. Olaf’s Sarah Prey (6-0, 6-0) and won a three set match in the second round over Carleton’s Genevieve Philp (6-1, 4-6, 10-8). Conaway upset the #6-seed Lyndsey Palen of Gustavus Adolphus (6-2, 6-3) in the third round and defeated Carthage’s Alex Jackson in the quarterfinals (6-2, 6-3). Conaway lost in the semifinals to the #2-seed and eventual champion Lauren Hom of Gustavus Adolphus (6-1, 6-4).
