Capper, a senior, won the shot put and weight throw at the Cornell Quadrangular. She provisionally qualified for the National Championship and set a school record with throw of 48-2 1/2 in the weight throw, breaking her own school record by over seven feet. Capper also won the shot put with a throw of 41-10 3/4.
