Harvey, a senior, fired a final round 72 en route to a 72-hole total of 300 to capture medalist honors at the 2011 Iowa Conference Men's Golf Championship. Harvey, who also posted the low round of the tournament with a 71 on April 17 in round two at Lake Creek Country Club near Storm Lake, had four birdies Saturday to overtake teammate Justin Livingston, who entered the final round with the medalist lead. He also had the best final 36-holes with a 79-72--151. It was Harvey's second All-Iowa Conference honor after placing ninth in 2009. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
