Miller, a junior, placed fourth in the decathlon at the Drake Relays with a school-record and NCAA automatic-qualifying total of 7,134 points. He led the event after day one and posted lifetime bests in five of the 10 events. Miller broke the previous mark of 7,058 set by Peter Wagner en route to decathlon title at the 2001 NCAA Division III Championships.
