Hoffmann, a junior, won one of six event titles for Wartburg as the Knights won the team title at the Grinnell Dick Young Classic. She won the shot put with a new school record and NCAA automatic-qualifying toss of 45 feet, 10.5 inches. The effort ranks fourth in Division III this season. Hoffmann also placed fourth in the discus (132-3) and fifth in the hammer (128-4).
