Ellingson, a senior, shattered her own school record in the mile with a time of 4:49.58 at the ISU Cyclone Last Chance Meet. The time, which converts 4:51.38 on a non-banked track, ranks second in Division III this season and automatically qualified Ellingson for the NCAA Division III Championships. She had set the previous Simpson record of 4:57.97 at last week's IIAC Championships.
