Waskow, a junior guard/forward, scored a game-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting as Coe beat Simpson, 59-56, to win the Iowa Conference women's basketball tournament title and earn its first NCAA tournament appearance in school history. She also scored 10 points in the Kohawks' 54-51 semifinal victory over Loras as Coe avenged two of its three losses during the tournament.
