Morrison, a junior, was named the Most Valuable Women's Field Performer at the 2011 Iowa Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships. Morrison won the long jump (5.70 meters; 18-8.50) and the triple jump (11.07m; 36-4), repeating the long jump-triple jump double she accomplished last year. In addition, she placed second in the 200-meter dash (25.87), third in the 55-meter dash (7.37 prelims / 7.40 finals), and anchored the winning 4x200-meter relay (1:44.77). She provisionally qualified for the NCAA indoor championships with her effort in the long jump. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
