Jackson, a senior quarterback, played a part in all five Dubuque touchdowns in the Spartans’ 34-31 season-ending win over Luther. Jackson ran for three touchdowns (10, 1, 3) and threw for two others (18, 52). He completed 10 of 19 passes for 163 yards and two touchdowns (18, 52) through the air, while carrying the ball 31 times for 127 yards and three scores (10, 1, 3). Jackson led the Spartans to their best record since 1980, finishing his career with 10,148 yards of total offense which places him 18th in the NCAA Division III record book with 2,323 yards rushing and 7,825 yards passing. With 103 touchdowns (47 rushing, 56 passing) and 282 points, Jackson also averaged 307.7 yards of total offense per game and 5.2 yards per rush.
