Fiala, a senior, and Schupbach, a junior, teamed to win the ITA Midwest Regional Doubles Tournament defeating the top-seeded team of Megan Gaard and Samantha Frank from Gustavus Adolphus 8-4 in the final. With the win, the pair has advanced to the ITA National Small College Championships Oct. 16-19 at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama. Fiala and Schupbach survived their semifinal match with a 9-8 (6) win over Carleton’s Erin Gudul and Kathryn Schmidt.
