Miller, a junior, won the pentathlon at the Grinnell College Darren Young Classic with an NCAA Division III season-best and school record total of 3,876 points. He finished first in the 55-meter hurdles (7.87 seconds), long jump (23-6 1/4), and high jump (6-8 1/4) in the 10-competitor field. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
