Hohneke, a senior pitcher/designated player, started three of four games in the circle for the Storm, posting a 3-1 record and notching 41 strikeouts in 28 2/3 innings pitched. She pitched a one-hitter against Crown (Minn.) April 1, then took a loss despite throwing a one-hitter in the second game of a doubleheader against No. 12 Wartburg April 2. In an April 5 doubleheader sweep of Luther, she struck out 21 Norse batters. Hohneke pitched 8 2/3 innings of relief in game one to pick up the victory and then tossed her fifth career no-hitter as she went nine innings during Simpson’s 2-1 victory in game two.
