Garcia, a sophomore, did not drop a game as he opened his spring singles schedule with a pair of victories. He defeated both John D'Orazio of Edgewood and Eric Hane of Knox by 6-0, 6-0 scores at No. 1 singles. Garcia also teamed with Shawn Iben for a pair of victories at No. 1 doubles.
