Nelson, a junior forward, averaged 19 points and eight rebounds while shooting 53.8 percent (14-of-26) from the floor in two games during the week. She scored a season-high 19 points (on 7-of-13 shooting), had five rebounds, two steals and an assist in Coe’s 56-55 loss to Dubuque. In the Kohawks’ first Conference win of the season, 74-56 over Buena Vista, Nelson recorded her second double-double of the year with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
