Straate, a senior forward, averaged 18.3 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 2.7 blocks and 2.3 steals in three games during the week. She shot 63.6 percent (21-of-33) from the floor and 81.3 percent (13-of-16) from the free throw line in victories over Central (97-72), Cornell (81-55) and Buena Vista (72-69) as Luther took over sole possession of second place in the Conference. She scored 17 points (on 7-of-13 shooting), had nine rebounds, two steals and a block against Central. Against Cornell, Straate scored 12 points (on 3-of-6 shooting), had seven rebounds, four steals, three blocks and three assists. She finished the week with a double-double against Buena Vista, scoring 26 points (on 11-of-14 shooting) to go along with 14 rebounds, five assists, four blocks and a steal.
