Maguire, a junior guard, averaged 22.0 points, 6.3 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game in three contests during the week. She shot 47.5 percent from the floor (19-of-40) and 79.2 percent from the free throw line (19-of-24) in victories over Wartburg (84-78), Dubuque (89-54) and Simpson (83-75). She had nearly identical numbers in the Wartburg and Dubuque games, scoring 27 points, dishing out six assists and grabbing three rebounds in both games. Against Wartburg, Maguire had two steals, made of 7-of-17 field goals and 10-of-13 free throws. Against Dubuque, she had three steals and made 11-of-16 field goals including 5-of-7 three pointers as Beaver coach Janet Berry won her 200th career game.
