Meggers, a junior forward, averaged 23.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game in two contests during the week. She shot 46.5 percent from the floor (20-of-43) and 71.4 percent from the free throw line (5-of-7) in victories over Luther (75-73) and Upper Iowa (93-52). Against Luther, she scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds (1-6), and had two assists and three steals. In the regular season finale against Upper Iowa, she scored 26 points on 11-of-20 shooting from the field (3-of-4 from the line), grabbed 12 rebounds (3-9), and had four assists and three steals. Meggers enters the Iowa Conference Tournament 35 points shy of 1,000 for her career and 15 rebounds shy of 500 for her career. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
