Jones, a senior guard, averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals per game in two contests during the week. In victories over Central College (61-42) and Simpson College (72-62), she shot 46.2 percent from the floor (12-of-26) and 90 percent from the free throw line (18-of-20). Against Central, Jones scored 13 points, had eight rebounds (3-5), four steals and two assists. Loras’ victory over Simpson moved the Duhawks into a first place tie with Simpson and was the first Conference loss of the season for the Storm. In 40 minutes, Jones scored a career-high 30 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the floor and 13-of-15 from the free throw line. She also connected on her only three-point attempt, grabbed nine rebounds (4-5), handed out three assists and had seven steals. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
