Hegner, a sophomore center, averaged 15.0 points, 13.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocked shots in two games during the week. She shot 50 percent from the floor (10-of-20) and 76.9 percent from the free throw line (10-of-13) in the two contests. In Cornell’s 56-50 victory over Iowa Wesleyan, she scored 13 points and grabbed 14 rebounds (7 -7). She also had two assists, two steals and two blocks. In the Rams’ 66-64 double-overtime victory over Monmouth (Ill.), Hegner scored 17 points, grabbed 13 rebounds (3-10) and blocked five shots. She also contributed two assists and a steal.
