Mennen, a sophomore forward, averaged 23.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in the Iowa Conference women’s basketball tournament, won by the Knights. In 93 minutes of play during the Conference tournament, she committed only three turnovers. Against Cornell College in the opening round, she scored 14 points, grabbed six rebounds and had two steals. Mennen followed that performance with a career-high 33-point outing against Upper Iowa University in the semifinals. In that contest, she also grabbed 10 rebounds, had three assists, two steals and one blocked shot. In the finals against Simpson, she scored 23 points, had six rebounds and one assist.
