Cleveland, a senior forward, was named the MVP of the Thrivent Financial for Lutherans Classic Dec. 29-30 at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif., after averaging 20.5 points and 8.5 rebounds at the tournament. His 29 points and 12 rebounds against Pacific Lutheran set or matched new career highs.
