Daugherty, a sophomore guard, averaged 21.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game in two Dubuque victories at the Mississippi River Challenge including an 86-84 win over 20th-ranked Wisconsin-Platteville. In the Spartans’ first win over Platteville since 1984, Daugherty scored 25 points on 4-of-12 shooting and 15-of-16 from the free throw line. He also had four rebounds (1-3), three assists, a block and a steal. In a 74-69 victory over Clarke, he scored 18 points (5-of-11 from the floor, 5-of-7 from the line), had five rebounds (0-5), six assists, a block and a steal. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
