Daugherty, a sophomore guard, averaged 24.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.0 steals in two games during the week. He shot 48.4 percent (15-of-31) from the floor, including 41.7 percent (5-of-12) from behind the 3-point arc, and 82.4 percent (14-of-17) from the free throw line in victories over Central (83-72) and Cornell (95-85 in overtime). He scored 26 points (on 10-of-19 shooting), had eight rebounds, five assists and four steals against Central.
