Peterson, a junior, led the Spartans to their first meet win in over a decade as he won two events and finished third in another at the Cornell Relays. Peterson won the 100-meter dash in 11.0 seconds and ran the second leg (10.0 second split) of the winning 4x100 relay in 42.6 seconds. He finished third in the 200-meter dash (22.63).
