Huegel, a senior, automatically qualified for the NCAA Championships in the javelin with a third place finish at the Mt. SAC Relays in California. His 206-10 throw was the top mark of any Division II or Division III athlete in the field. Huegel was also the top Division III athlete in the discus, finishing 11th (147-9).
